About Me

Like many of you I’m in love with Cinema. It took me some time to release the small but important details in filmwork, but once it just clicked, and I began to expand my palette, if you will. Anything from Marvel’s latest film to a small Italian arthouse film I’m game.

The way I think (I believe) is quite a mathematical way, which is probably why I enjoy predicting the Oscars. I probably see fourty to fifty different films a year, which isn’t too bad, right? The bad thing is that I always choose the same screen, seat and popcorn every time, but I like my routine. It’s not a bad life.

I love animated films, like I’m a child, but I was brought up on a mixture of James Bond films and Toy Story and Cars – By the way Lazenby’s my Bond. Here are my twelve favourite films (not in order – it would be impossible!), however it does change from time to time!

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, 1969
Wall-E, 2008
Ratatouille, 2007
Cars, 2006
Up, 2009
2001: A Space Odyssey, 1968
The Dark Knight, 2008
Forrest Gump, 1995
The Sting, 1973
Call Me By Your Name, 2017
The Shawshank Redemption, 1994
The Italian Job, 1969

Outside of film, I live in London, enjoy playing tennis and love animals. My aspiration is to be involved in making films, Whether that is directing or writing them, or doing the composition for them or producing.

My only rule is to enjoy yourself, and for me that’s usually through watching a film!
