Box Office – Three-Way race for No.1 This Weekend

This weekend Rogue One could be knocked of the top spot after three weeks after it dropped much more than expected on Friday. Hidden Figures took in $7.5M whilst Rogue One took in $6.1M. Universal’s Sing took in $5.1M.

Now with the drop Rogue One is looking at a $22M weekend. Sing is looking at a $20-22Mweekend making it extremely close. With it’s strong Friday opening Hidden Figures should take in at least $19Mand could take in as much as $22M.

Screen Gems’s Underworld: Blood Wars is looking at a fourth place finish as the $35 million production was made for half of the 2012 instalment, Underworld: Awakening as the studio’s focus appears to clearly be set on the film’s global performance rather than its domestic.
