I know this is a blog about film, but bare with me. I just watched Stage 12 of the Tour de France on Mount Ventoux, one of the toughest stages on the tour, where Chris Froome, Richie Porte and Bauke Mollema had broken away from the peleton. Then a bloody spectator caused the motorbike, which was filming the trio in front, to come to a sudden stand still. This caused the three best riders in the world right know to crash into the motorbike, with Richie Porte hurt. Chris Froome (The Yellow Jersey) had to run up Mount Ventoux to finish, and now apparently the UCI is not going to reverse the result of the incident. What’s there fucking problem?
